Students of Chrysalis between the ages of 12 to 18 years are assessed for functional academics and vocational skills. We understand that because each student is unique, so are the skills. For those students who do not prefer to pursue academics by choice or otherwise, Chrysalis has designed a pre-vocational curriculum to suit the needs of the children who have fine skills in their own interest areas and with mentoring, they can become ready for vocation. This readiness programme will not only be imparting skills but also has a holistic approach to the other needs of every child.
Chrysalis takes several important personal skills like self-discipline, time & money management, orderliness, appearance, inter-personal skills, hygiene, critical thinking, working with peers etc. imbibed into the curriculum.
Also, children learn bilateral hand activities, working in groups preparing for the future vocational group, learning to work in an assembly line, and master their skills. Through this readiness programme, students are then prepared for the vocational training programme after which they can be more independent both physically and financially.
